In this modern world there are a select few who choose to live a selfless life...sacrificing for the good and welfare of others; striving to make a mark in this world for Christ; determined to make a difference; devoted to the true Gospel message of Christ. Jon and Miranda Welch exemplify these virtues as they strive to be kind, generous, and faithful to the Biblical principles that drive them to be more than status quo.

Since their marriage in 1999, they have committed to faithfully serve Jesus Christ together and live out His message of truth, hope, and love. Centering their life around their love for God and all things precious to Him.

Both born in Louisiana, Jon and Miranda are native to Vernon Parish. They are long time acquaintances who became high school sweethearts. Jon nor Miranda were aware of the amazing plans the Lord had for their lives as mere teens in the church youth group at the Leesville First Pentecostal Church.

Jon was not the loud or rowdy youngster. Not exactly fitting the "preacher" description. He was always a hard worker who would not rest until the task at hand was accomplished. Diligent in his pursuit to walk in integrity.  He was always kind-hearted. But he was reserved, serene, and shy. However, the purpose God planted in his heart drove him to overcome his shy personality. Couple that sense of purpose with his steadfast work ethic and you have a leader who now compels hundreds of souls to follow and serve Christ as he passionately ministers the Word of the Lord. A man who challenges and inspires others to reach new heights in Christ,  to accomplish all that God intends His children to attain.

In 2003, Jon became Youth Pastor of the First Pentecostal Church in Leesville, Louisiana. He continued steadfast in that role until  2010. Under his leadership, weekly Friday night youth services helped the youth group be better established in the Word of God and also opened the door for community young people to experience the power of Pentecost. During his time as Youth Pastor he also assisted in the daily workings of the church.  He also served the United Pentecostal Church on the Louisiana District Youth Ministries (LDYM) Committee for four years. Faithfully leading the youth of his section and collaborating with committee members to plan and conduct statewide events such as youth camps and conventions.

As God began to direct Jon to evangelize, he was well prepared to be a catalyst to create a revival environment in churches. As he proclaims the truth of the Gospel through evangelism, he continues to help churches and pastors awaken the spiritual senses of men and women in their congregations.  Ever steadfast in his commitment to serve Jesus Christ and to further God’s kingdom, he continues to lead by example...Faithful to the calling God has placed on his life.  He has an anointed ministry in healing and is mightily used in the Gifts of the Spirit. Lives are restored, healed, and many have been filled with the Holy Ghost as Jon allows God to use him. God always blesses faithfulness. God has blessed the ministry of Jon and Miranda Welch because they have faithfully served Him and centered their life around Him.

Jon and Miranda credit any success they may have in life and ministry, first, to Jesus Christ; second, to faithful family, friends, and spiritual mentors who have invested in them. Much like the mighty Mississippi River gains its strength from the tributaries that feed it, Jon and Miranda have grown stronger by the wisdom that has been poured into them. In turn, they each aim to be vessels that God’s Spirit can flow through to positively impact all who come to know them.

Psalm 1:3

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of living water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
