It’s an honor to speak concerning your ministry.  I have known you since childhood.  Your commitment and love for God has been very apparent.  In Proverbs 22:1 it says, “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches”.  You have chosen the good name.  In Acts 4:13 they perceived they had been with Jesus.  When you approach the pulpit it’s obvious you have been with Jesus.  I Kings 17:24 I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.  In Luke 10:42 Jesus said unto Martha, “Mary thy sister hath chosen the good part”.  Your ministry is so refreshing, exciting and powerful that it’s apparent that you have chosen “the good part”.

You are a revivalist, used in the gifts of the Spirit, a minister of hope.  You are a soul winner.  Whenever you minister God’s blessings are upon the congregation.  For,“where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty“.

Invariably you seem to always be able to find the will of God in a service and with poignant powerful preaching present a timely message high lighted with effective and clear communication.  You are a great blessing.  Your gifted ministry and talents personally as well as your vision for work of the Gospel in this crucial hour is very evident to all who know you.  We are honored that you count us as your pastor, and this church as your home.  Without hesitation I would recommend you to any pastor or district.

I met Brother and Sister Jon Welch several years ago.  Since that time, they have ministered for us here at Bethel Tabernacle numerous times. He is not only one of my favorites but also is greatly loved by our congregation. Brother Jon Welch has a standing invitation to our pulpit. When we first met I was immediately impressed with Brother Welch’s excellent spirit and sensitivity to the Holy Ghost.  Recently, he has been especially used in healing services where miracles and results happen regularly.

As your presbyter for nine years I commend you for your faithfulness to the former position of section six youth director.  I believe the anointed Word will continue to proceed from you and your wife in evangelizing our world.  We certainly look forward to your return to our pulpit in DeRidder.

Brother and Sister Welch are a dynamic team.  Sensitive to God’s leading and positive in their presentation of Him.  Brother Welch is used powerfully in the gifts of the Spirit and is always a blessing to our congregation.

Jon and Miranda are tremendous Christians. The past few years I have had the privilege to serve with this dynamic couple on the Louisiana District Youth Committee. It was a relief to know that I could always rely on Jon and Miranda to be led by the Spirit. You and your church will be tremendously blessed by their ministry.

I have personally known Bro. Jon Welch for many years, and he has proven himself to be a "workman that needeth not to be ashamed."  His ministry refelcts a man who has given himself to the Word of God.  Proverbs 17:27 declares "a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit" and this certainly describes Bro. Welch.  He and his precious wife have ministered to our local assembly on numerous occasions, and we have always experienced a powerful move of God with signs and wonders following.  I do not hesitate to recommend Bro. and Sis. Welch to any congregation.  You and your church will be blessed!
